48-56 Bayham Place

48-56 Bayham Place involved the conversion of an existing office space into residential as the first stage of the works. The result is a sensitive refurbishment to the exterior of the building, whilst internally the building fabric has been upgraded to improve its thermal and acoustic performance.

The second stage involved a contemporary double storey roof extension to 13 new apartments. This new lightweight extension, made from aluminium cladding, aims to enhance the appearance of the existing building and to establish a dialogue with its surroundings.

Sustainability and Engineering services were delivered by several of the We Design For team during their time at Battle McCarthy prior to launching We Design For. These high end apartments have proven to be a popular investment.
