For this substantial new-build home, we provided the full design-stage MEP strategy and energy modelling, ensuring the project achieved strong environmental performance while accommodating the architect’s ambitious brief. The house includes a large basement leisure suite and extensive glazing across multiple storeys, demanding a carefully integrated building-services approach.
Our design introduced a paired, low-temperature heat-pump system arranged in series, delivering efficient space heating and domestic hot-water generation across the property. Selected zones of the house were air-conditioned, providing precise comfort control where solar gain and occupancy patterns required it, while the overall heating strategy ensured excellent Part L compliance despite the expansive glazed elevations.
Through early-stage thermal modelling, coordinated plant placement and clear distribution routing, we delivered a services solution that remains discreet within the architecture while providing reliable comfort, reduced energy consumption and a future-ready performance profile for a high-end contemporary home.
